the boomer live

Hello !  We are Mick and Vicki and we are baby boomers. The Baby Boom generation is generally accepted to be anyone born between 1945 – 1965.  We were both born around 1950 hence the boomer in the sites name.    We have diverse interests, technology, movies, investing, motor racing, soccer, shopping, football, golf, church and travel to name a few.

We love to travel but are both still working which only allows a few trips a year.  But we have been fortunate enough to visit many interesting places  and believe it or not we met on a cruise ship, SS Amerikanis, in the late ’70′s.

Our idea for this blog came about when we kept asking each other, what was that  website  where we saw….. or what was that article in…… etc.  So we decided to create a blog and record the stuff that is of interest to us and hopefully relevant to other baby boomers.   Please feel free to use the comments after entries.  Comments will be moderated for language and spam but not for opinions.   We hope you find the articles we post interesting, get an idea for a trip, maybe save some money or even have a few laughs.
