One of my favorite automotive programs on TV is Top Gear from the BBC. Apart from reviewing the latest and greatest cars the presenters get up to a bunch of unusual things. This video of presenter James Mays flying in a U2 to the edge of space definitely takes the cake! I love the bit when he gets in the plane and adjusts the cockpit mirror as though he was adjusting the rearview mirror in a car! Sit back and enjoy the flight!

Hey! That’s me in the front seat!
12 Feb 2009 was this flight. The two BBC documentaries (James May on the Moon & James May at the edge of space) aired on 21 Jun 2009 – on the Summer Solstice. Thanks to producer Paul King, camera man Tim Cragg & John Behrens, and soundman Adam Prescott.
