Last Saturday we went to Safety Harbor and spent an enjoyable few hours at the San Gennaro Festa put on by the Italian American Woman of Today (Liado) . It is a street fair celebrating Italian heritage and of course Italian food! Lots of entertainment, bocce court, singers, tarantella dancers comedy opera, climbing wall , and did I mention food!!
Luisa (Vicki’s friend from work) and the other ladies of Liado really put on a great festival. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and judging by overheard conversations there were a lot of Italian participants as every other word ended in a vowel!!
