Last night it was a sleigh ride. The scenery was beautiful in the glistening snow. Half way they stopped to pass out hot chocolate. There was a crazy Frenchman that had everybody sing along———we had no idea what we were repeating back to him in French!! Sooooo glad I have all my snow gear. My feet are nice and warm, love my ski pants, and the coat with hood is just right. Of course I have been wearing these basics daily. The Village is really quaint. We have just been wandering up and down and watching the skiers. We particularly are having fun watching little kids, no more than 3 yrs old, learning how to ski!!
I asked about Mass tomorrow at the front desk. There is a pretty little chapel in the village but it didn’t post any times or type of service. So the girl said there is a Catholic Mass at 11 if the priest shows up!!! In the brochure it said there was a mass at a nearby town at 9:30 so I said perhaps I should go there. She said not to bother because if he shows up for the 9:30 he’ll show up here for the 11 AM and vice versa!!!
We had dinner at an Italian restaurant tonight it was very good, I had veal, Mick had meatballs. After I had some "Maple Taffy in Snow" the shop keeper pours hot taffy in a barrel of snow, you wait 45secs, and then roll it up on a lollipop stick !~ yummy! You can see today’s photos here.
