the boomer live

Its Thursday night and we are in Mont Tremblant, Canada, a couple of hours north of Montreal.  Vicki won this trip through her work, and we flew up from Orlando with a bunch of her workmates who also qualified for the trip.  The Air Canada flight was very smooth, although it was a little late due to delays caused by the snow up north.  We arrived at the resort , La Tour des Voyageurs, around 7:30pm and after a quick check in we walked through the "town".  The "town" is a copy of a Swiss village built on a hill  (think Swiss Disney with snow) it looks very quaint at night, covered in snow.  Oh yes, its VERY cold !  We stopped at Casseys a hamburger/sports bar for something to eat, apparently they have to cook their hamburgers "well done" by law.  Well ours could easily have been used as pucks in the hockey game they were showing on TV!  Back to the hotel, exhausted, looking forward to exploring tomorrow.
