The End Of Of Analog TV Is Coming

January 30th, 2008 · No Comments

The death of analog TV is scheduled for midnight February 17th 2009.   The government mandated that all new TV’s built after March 1st 2007 must be able to receive digital signals, but don’t worry you will still be able to use your old TV using a digital converter box.  The government will even give you 2 coupons ($40 each ) for discounts on the converter boxes (estimated retail cost $60-$80).   The coupons are issued on  a first come first serve basis, BUT they expire after 90 days.  You might want wait a little bit before applying, but you will take the chance of missing out!  More info and apply at the  TV Converter Box Program website.
