Diamond Settlement Could Put Cash In Your Pocket

January 27th, 2008 · 1 Comment

Have you bought a diamond ring, necklace or other bauble with a diamond in it over the last 15- or 16 years?  If you did (January 1, 1994 and March 31, 2006) you may be able to claim some money from the $295 million dollar lawsuit that De Beers has just settled.

De Beers Company was charged with anti competitive prices and advertising that was misleading, which resulted in consumers paying more than they should have for their diamonds. They did not  admit that they did anything wrong but they did agree to the settlement.

If you would like to submit a claim you can do so by visiting https://diamondsclassaction.com. Or you can call 1800-760-5431 for additional information.

You may be owed up to $ 645, those who wish to file a claim will have until May 19, 2008 to submit a form.

I purchased a diamond in 1996 that is now cracked and I was informed about the crack in Jan of this year. No one will even give me a trade in value on it because of the crack. Diamonds are not supposed to crack. I was just informed about this suit. I would like to get information about submitting a claim. Thank you.
