MV Explorer Sinking In Antarctic – Pax Rescued

MV Explorer MV endeavor_sink2More than 150 passengers and crew had to be rescued from freezing Antarctic waters after their cruise liner hit an iceberg. The MV Explorer hit an iceberg MV endeavor_sink26 miles from a small island called 25 March, Argentine Coastguard said. The collision produced a rupture of 10 x 25 cm in the hull.  More on  story here at Telegraph UK or BBC.  Reports indicate all passengers and crew accounted for and have been picked up by the cruise ship Nordnorge & other rescue ships, including the Captain and Chief Engineer who remained onboard initially.
